Over 100 Sheffield Wednesday fans are donating £1 every time the team score this season to aid three local charities – the Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Weston Park Cancer Charity and Sheffield Mind.
I set up this project as I wanted to show how football and football fans can help to support local charities.
We’re already well on our way to smashing our initial target of £5,000 but there’s still a lot of work to do and people are still welcome to join us on this journey.
